With the free Reality Composer app for iPad and iPhone you can create your very own Augmented Reality (AR) experiences with relative ease. In this QuickTips tutorial I’ll teach you how to import external 3D models using the USDZ file format to further improve your own AR creations.

By following this tutorial you’ll also learn how to download and import USDZ files from different online sources, including NASA (https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/all/?order=pub_date+desc&per_page=50&page=0&search=&fs=&fc=324&ft=&dp=&category=324). You can bring these models into your own Reality Composer projects and use them just like you would any of the default built-in objects. This opens up a whole new range of opportunities and creative possibilities for your projects.

All of my content is completely free to watch. However, to create these videos I require a steady stream of caffeine!

If you've found this #QuickTip helpful then please do consider buying me a coffee. Thank you.
